Overview of Rehab Occupational Therapy Pegboard
The rehab occupational therapy pegboard is used to insert the wooden rod accurately in place to train the patients’ eye and hand coordination function. Through a series of actions to use different fingers to coordinate, pull out and insert the wooden stick, replace the wooden stick with a hole, pull it out and flip it in, pick up the designated wooden stick, it can enhance the control of the fingers and upper limbs, and improve hand-eye coordination.
Training Method for Using Rehab Wooden Inserting Stick Board
- Put the stick insertion board on the floor and sit on the floor.
- Put the stick insertion board on the table, and operate while standing or sitting.
- Remove the wooden sticks from the hole and insert them again. Repeat the operation several times.
- Take out all the wooden sticks from the holes and insert them again. Repeat the operation several times.
